Prince William and Kate Middleton share cheeky exchange during official Caribbean tour
Prince William reportedly responded playfully to a bold question from his wife recently
A playful and intimate exchange between the Prince and Princess of Wales has been brought to light by royal observers following their official tour of the Caribbean.
During a recent broadcast of Lip-Reading the Royals: What Are They Really Saying? on Channel 5, expert lip-reader Nicola Hickling revealed a flirty conversation that took place during a commissioning parade for service personnel.
The interaction allegedly began with a bold enquiry from Catherine, who asked her husband, "Did you walk in on them?" to which Prince William reportedly replied, "I did, yeah," before noting that those present seemed to be holding back laughter.
The dialogue reportedly turned more suggestive as the mother of three complimented her husband’s appearance in his military uniform.
Hickling alleges that Catherine told him, "You do know how it makes me feel," before adding a playful remark about having "sweets" to enjoy once they returned home.
Prince William responded in kind, allegedly stating, "I would love something sweet." Royal analyst Cristo Foufas suggested that such playful banter represents the couple’s "love language," while former royal butler Grant Harrold described the exchange as a "wonderful compliment" between a pair who remain deeply in love.
While the footage originates from their 2022 visit to the region, the analysis has provided fans with a rare glimpse into the private dynamics of the royal marriage.
The couple, who married in 2011, continue to balance their high-profile official duties with an evidently strong personal bond.
Prince William and Catherine are expected to make several public appearances later this year in support of their ongoing charitable initiatives.
