Taylor Swift has sent her global fanbase into a frenzy after a mysterious 48-hour countdown appeared and was rapidly deleted from her official website.
The timer, which surfaced on Thursday afternoon, featured a distinct blue and white cloud theme with yellow numerical outlines.
Although it disappeared within minutes, eagle-eyed fans were quick to draw comparisons between the aesthetic and the iconic Toy Story logo.
Speculation is mounting that the "Cruel Summer" singer may have recorded a lead track for the upcoming Toy Story 5 soundtrack.
Further fuel was added to the fire by Taylor Nation, the singer’s official fan engagement team, which shared a video of Swift discussing her songwriting process alongside a cloud emoji.
In a recent interview with the New York Times, where she was honoured as one of the 30 Greatest Living American Songwriters, Swift described inspiration as something that "floats down like a cloud."
On Monday, the star further teased the palette by wearing a blue and white striped dress paired with a yellow purse during a New York dinner outing.
Beyond her musical endeavours, the pop star is reportedly occupied with preparations for her wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce.
Following their engagement last August, rumours suggest the couple will wed in New York on 3 July. Guests have allegedly been kept in the dark regarding the final location after a previous site leak.
As she manages these personal milestones, Swift remains a dominant force in the industry, with Toy Story 5 scheduled for a cinema release on 19 June.
