Macaulay Culkin reportedly harbours a persistent concern every time he attends a professional basketball match with his fiancée, Brenda Song.
The actor is reportedly anxious that Song’s intense passion for the Los Angeles Lakers might lead to a physical confrontation.
Appearing on Kylie Kelce’s "Not Gonna Lie" podcast, the actress admitted that her viral courtside antics have become a point of contention. "Mac is always worried that I'm going to get into a fight at a game," the "Running Point" star revealed.
Song’s dedication to the team was famously captured last year when the Lakers placed a microphone on her during a game, catching her shouting at the opposition.
During the recording, she was heard yelling, "Come on, LeBron," before adding, "Smack this boy out of here." Despite these outbursts, Song insists that she has actually moderated her behaviour compared to the Kobe Bryant era.
She noted that her current fandom is "pretty tame" in comparison to her younger years, where her obsession reached extreme levels.
Reflecting on her past conduct, Song stated, "When Kobe was playing, you could have never mic'ed me up. I would go after players, families and children. I was that level of crazy."
She suggested that Culkin might disagree with her assessment of being more relaxed now. The couple first met in 2014 and began their romantic relationship in 2017.
Outside of the sporting arena, they share two children and remain one of Hollywood’s most private pairs, occasionally appearing together at high-profile industry events and Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonies.
