Nicole Kidman is dressed to the nines at the Met Gala 2026, marking a significant milestone in her fashion history. The 58-year-old actress, who also serves as a Met Gala co-chair this year, arrived wearing a custom creation by Jason Bolden.

The sophisticated look consisted of a sequined drop-waist gown featuring delicate feather trim, all in a rich, deep red hue. To complete the ensemble, Kidman paired the dress with an Omega “Manhattan” watch from 1982.

The evening was particularly poignant, as it marked the first time the actress was accompanied by her daughter, Sunday Rose, on the steps of the famous Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Hairstylist Adir Abergel was tasked with creating a cohesive aesthetic for the pair. “For Nicole and Sunday Rose’s first Met Gala together, I wanted to create something that felt like a true homage to their beautiful red-carpet moment,” Abergel noted. The stylist aimed for a look that symbolised their familial bond through subtle artistry.

“I love them both, and it was incredibly special to create these looks for them,” Abergel added. He explained that he wanted the hair to serve as a "quiet, unspoken thread" that connected the two women, balancing femininity and strength while allowing their individual personalities to be seen.

This high-profile appearance cements Kidman’s enduring status as a global style icon and leader within the fashion industry.

It follows her decades of acclaimed work in cinema, where she has consistently used the red carpet to champion both emerging designers and heritage luxury brands.
