The co-stars of 'It Ends With Us' revealed their surprising settlement on Monday through a joint statement
Blake Lively captured attention at the 2026 Met Gala on the same day she resolved her prominent legal disagreement with Justin Baldoni.
The actress appeared cheerful as she graced the red carpet in New York City on Monday night.
Lively dazzled in a vintage Versace gown from 2006, drawing inspiration from “a sunrise and a sunset and watercolour,” she shared with Vogue while on the carpet.
She enhanced the colorful dress using a Judith Leiber handbag that featured creations by her and Ryan Reynolds’ four kids.
Adding a touch of sparkle, she wore custom pink sapphire, kunzite, and diamond drop earrings, a 30-carat yellow diamond ring, and a 10-carat pink sapphire ring, all crafted by Lorraine Schwartz.
Lively’s attendance at the celebrity-filled event came just hours after she and Baldoni announced the conclusion of their contentious legal battle over their 2024 film “It Ends With Us.”

“The final product – the film ‘It Ends With Us’ – is a source of pride for all who contributed to bringing it to fruition,” both parties expressed in a joint statement acquired by Page Six.
“Raising awareness and creating a significant impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors – and all survivors – is a mission we strongly support.”
They continued, “We admit the process had its difficulties and acknowledge concerns expressed by Ms. Lively warranted attention.”
Both sides added that they “firmly advocate for work environments free from misconduct and inefficiencies” and it is their “sincere hope this brings resolution and enables all involved to proceed positively and peacefully, including fostering a respectful online atmosphere.”
Before the settlement, the duo was set to confront each other in court on May 18 after Lively filed a lawsuit against him for sexual harassment and retaliation in December 2024.
In the “Gossip Girl” star’s lawsuit, she referred to several alleged incidents from the “It Ends With Us” production, which Baldoni denied.
In her legal filing, Lively, aged 38, claimed she incurred approximately $161 million in damages and financial loss due to an alleged smear campaign directed at her.
Baldoni, 42, also filed a countersuit of $400 million against Lively, which was eventually dismissed in June 2025.
