Victoria Beckham hits back at son Brooklyn's accusations of parental control
Victoria Beckham insisted she is not a pushy parent despite her son's allegations

- Brooklyn Beckham previously alleged 'overwhelming anxiety' caused by parental control and bribery
- Family feud intensifies as Victoria insists 'Brand Beckham' grew organically without formal discussion
Victoria Beckham has publicly addressed the ongoing rift within her family, defending her approach to motherhood following a series of "scathing" allegations from her eldest son, Brooklyn.
Speaking candidly on Emma Grede’s Aspire podcast, the 52-year-old fashion designer insisted that she is not a "pushy parent."
This appearance follows a January social media post from Brooklyn, 27, in which he claimed he had been "controlled" for most of his life and suffered from "overwhelming anxiety" due to the pressures of his upbringing.
During the podcast, the former Spice Girl addressed the concept of "Brand Beckham," a term Brooklyn previously slammed in a "brutal social media takedown."
Victoria told the Dragon’s Den alum that the brand was "never even discussed" and instead grew "organically" from her and David's individual careers.
She recalled the early days of their relationship, noting that while David worked with Adidas and Pepsi, she was busy with the Spice Girls’ various endorsements.
"I think it was the outside world that really talked about Brand Beckham," she remarked, adding that the couple always focused on their "separate brand endorsements and career paths."
The mum of four was eager to highlight that her primary goal has always been to "protect" her brood. These comments come as a direct counter-narrative to Brooklyn’s "jaw-dropping" claims of "bribery" and assertions that his parents tried to "endlessly ruin" his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz.
Despite Brooklyn’s public statement that he has "no wish to reconcile" after finding peace away from the family, Victoria maintains that the Beckhams have "always been very close."
