Brandi Glanville has targeted LeAnn Rimes with a scathing message on social media amid persistent rumours that the country singer might be joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The former reality star, who appeared on the Bravo series from 2011 to 2015, took to X on Wednesday to express her disdain for the potential casting.

She suggested that if the singer were to join the show, it would simply be the final step in a long history of Rimes allegedly co-opting aspects of Glanville's personal life.

"I hope it’s true about ‘RHOBH’ I mean she got everything else of mine- husband, kids, boobs, bronco, random illnesses she might as well just be a housewife and finish it off once and for all," Glanville tweeted.

Despite the social media stir, an exclusive source told Page Six that there is currently no truth to the casting speculation.

The insider clarified that the singer’s name has not been mentioned for the upcoming season and that this stance is unlikely to change in the near future.

The friction between the two women dates back to 2008, when Rimes began a relationship with Glanville’s then-husband, Eddie Cibrian. Following their respective divorces, Rimes and Cibrian married in 2011.

Glanville has been consistently vocal about her feelings regarding the affair, even admitting in the past to making extreme threats during the height of the drama.

Most recently, Glanville questioned the country star's decision to share a viral video of jaw release therapy, labelling the public display as "so weird" and unnecessary.
