A 23-year-old Georgia mother, Amy Suzan Pittman, has been arrested following allegations that she repeatedly broke her toddler son's bones over a span of two weeks.

According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, the 20-month-old child suffered multiple fractures between 14 April and 30 April.

The investigation was initiated on 22 April after the Hall County Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) flagged the case due to the suspicious nature of the child's injuries.

Authorities allege that Pittman injured the toddler on at least three separate occasions inside their home on Sailors Avenue.

The physical abuse reportedly involved "pulling on" the child with enough force to cause significant skeletal damage.

Medical examinations revealed a harrowing list of injuries: one fracture to the right arm, two to the left arm, fractures to both clavicles (collarbones), and a fracture to the left leg.

The boy is currently being treated at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where his injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.

Online jail records indicate that Pittman is being held without bond at the Hall County Jail. She faces six counts each of first-degree cruelty to children and aggravated battery under Georgia’s Family Violence Act.

Notably, records mention that Pittman has a tattoo which reads, “with pain comes strength.” The Georgia Department of Family and Children Services has since taken custody of the child to ensure his ongoing safety and recovery.
