- Blake Lively settled her litigation against Justin Baldoni on 4 May 2026.
- The legal dispute involved claims of sexual harassment and a retaliatory smear campaign.
Actor Ryan Reynolds shared a moving tribute to his wife, Blake Lively, on Sunday, praising her "kind" and "fearless" nature.
The 49-year-old Deadpool star took to Instagram to share a sentimental photograph of the couple embracing near a waterfall, alongside an emotional message marking Mother’s Day.
"I appreciate this mother beyond measure," Reynolds wrote in his Stories. "She is kind. She is fearless. She's the absolute love of my life and to our four little kids, she's the life of their love."
The couple, who married in 2012, share four children: daughters James, Inez, and Betty, and three-year-old son, Olin. The tribute comes just days after a significant legal victory for the Gossip Girl actress.
On 4 May, Lively reached a settlement in her long-running lawsuit against It Ends with Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni, ending over a year of acrimonious litigation.
The legal battle began in December 2024 when Lively alleged that Baldoni had subjected her to sexual harassment and orchestrated a "retaliatory smear campaign" to damage her reputation.
While a federal judge dismissed the harassment claims in April because of Lively's status as an independent contractor, her claims regarding retaliation and breach of contract remained active until the out-of-court settlement was reached.
Baldoni’s own $400 million countersuit against Lively and Reynolds was previously dismissed in June 2025.
Lively’s legal team described the resolution as a "resounding victory," noting that the defendants acknowledged her concerns "deserved to be heard."
