'Love Is Blind' renewed for season 11: Netflix reveals new city and long-awaited release date
Netflix renews 'Love Is Blind' for Season 11 in Boston! Get the release date, host details, and a recap of the Season 10 drama in this hit reality dating series
Love is Blind fans can officially start the countdown, as Netflix has announced the wildly popular dating show will return for its 11th season. In an announcement on May 13, the streaming giant revealed that the show’s famous pods are heading to Boston, Massachusetts, with the new season scheduled to premiere in the autumn of 2026.
Longtime hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey are confirmed to be returning to helm the series. The show's core premise, which has captivated audiences for ten seasons, will remain unchanged.
A new group of hopeful singles will date from individual pods, getting to know each other without ever seeing what the other person looks like. The couples who form a strong enough connection will get engaged before meeting face-to-face, then move in together and navigate their relationship in the real world before deciding whether to say "I do" at the altar.
A look back at Season 10's drama
The renewal comes after a turbulent tenth season set in Ohio, which saw a high number of engagements but a low success rate. Of the seven couples who left the pods with a ring, only two made it to the altar: Vix St. John and Christine Hamilton, and Amber Morrison and Jordan Faith.
However, by the time the reunion episode aired, only one couple remained. Fan-favourites Vix and Christine were still happily married and settling into life in Columbus. Amber and Jordan, on the other hand, revealed they had ended their relationship the previous summer. The couple cited trust issues and distance as major factors, admitting they never even moved in together after their wedding day.
Can the Boston Singles beat the odds?
The mixed results from Ohio highlight the ongoing debate around the show's "social experiment." While Love is Blind remains a ratings juggernaut for Netflix, its track record for creating lasting marriages is a topic of frequent discussion. Out of 57 couples who have got engaged on the US version of the show, only nine remain married, putting the success rate at just under 16% for those who make it out of the pods.
The franchise has also faced its share of controversy, with former contestants filing lawsuits against the production company alleging "inhumane working conditions" and a lack of mental health support. Despite these challenges, the show's addictive format continues to draw in millions of viewers, all eager to find out if love can truly be blind for the next set of contestants in Boston.
