Lily Collins bids farewell as ‘Emily in Paris’ wraps with final season

Netflix's hit Emily in Paris is officially coming to an end, with the streaming giant confirming the romantic comedy series will conclude after its upcoming sixth season.
The fan-favorite show, led by Lily Collins as ambitious marketing executive Emily Cooper, is currently filming its final chapter in Greece ahead of its highly anticipated release.
Created by Darren Star, the series first premiered on Netflix and quickly became a global success thanks to its glamorous European backdrop, fashion-forward storytelling and lighthearted romance.
Announcing the show’s ending, Star reflected on the journey the cast and crew have shared over the years.
“Making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the trip of a lifetime,” he said in a statement.
“As we embark on the final season, I am so grateful to Netflix, Paramount and, most importantly, the fans who have taken this incredible journey with us. We can’t wait to share this last chapter with you.”
Lily Collins also addressed fans directly, promising an emotional and stylish farewell for Emily Cooper’s final adventure.
“Season 6 will bring you everything you love about the show and serve as the final chapter in Emily’s adventure of a lifetime,” Collins shared in a video message.
“Our entire cast and crew are pouring our hearts into making this a fantastic farewell season.”
The actress, daughter of music icon Phil Collins, has previously spoken about how closely she relates to her on-screen character’s optimistic personality and career-driven mindset.
“I’m a constant optimist, I’m a go-getter,” Collins said in an earlier interview, adding that she shares Emily’s enthusiastic outlook on life and work.
Since debuting in 2020, Emily in Paris has become one of Netflix’s most recognizable international titles, inspiring fashion trends, travel interest and a devoted fan following worldwide.
The sixth and final season is expected to give viewers one last stylish journey through Emily Cooper’s whirlwind European life before the series officially signs off.
