Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is offering a lighthearted glimpse into his marriage with actress Hailee Steinfeld, revealing one playful habit that regularly gets on his wife’s nerves.

Speaking on the Centered on Buffalo podcast with former Bills center Eric Wood, Allen admitted that he often jokes around by pretending to snap or bark whenever Steinfeld tries to touch or fix his facial hair.

“Anytime she tries to, like, if I got something in my beard or my mustache and she goes to reach for it I always, like, bark and snap,” Allen said.

“It’s something my dad did… so every time I do that, it gets her every single time and I can’t not do it.”

Allen, who turned 30 on May 21, said the playful reaction is something he picked up from childhood, adding that he finds it hard to resist repeating it in the moment.

“It’s like, it’s there for the taking and I have to take it,” he said with a laugh.

When asked if Steinfeld, 29, has any habits that bother him in return, Allen quickly shut the idea down.

“Absolutely nothing, Eric,” he said jokingly. “What are you trying to do here? What are you trying to do to me?”

Allen and Steinfeld are approaching their one-year wedding anniversary on May 31 and recently welcomed their first child together, a baby girl.

Steinfeld announced the birth in April through her Substack newsletter, sharing that the couple was “savouring these early moments” and feeling “incredibly grateful and blessed.”

Allen has also spoken recently about how becoming a father has changed his mindset, saying his motivation in football now extends beyond himself.

“The why I want to do it has,” he told reporters in April. “So why I want to do it is to show my family, to show my daughter how hard you need to work in order to accomplish something so great.”
