Mexican influencer Paola Márquez found dead at age 30 in apartment
The social media star had more than two million followers across platforms
Mexican social media influencer Paola Márquez has died at the age of 30 after being found unresponsive inside her apartment in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, authorities and local reports confirmed.
According to Spanish-language outlet El Sol de San Luis, Márquez was discovered at her residence on May 30. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A representative from the state attorney general’s office told the publication that her death is being investigated as a possible suicide. Officials have not released further details pending the ongoing investigation.
News of her passing was later confirmed by her father, Hércules Márquez Balderas, who shared an emotional tribute on social media.
“My treasure went ahead, my beautiful daughter Paola Márquez, today a piece of my life went,” he wrote on Facebook. “Dear God have you and keep you in a beautiful place my daughter, one day we will be together again, rest in peace my princess.”
Following the announcement, fans and followers flooded social media with messages of condolences, expressing shock over her sudden death and offering support to her family.
“I’m in shock cousin it can’t be true that someone tells me it’s a lie. My God give me strength I really need it,” one user wrote, while others shared similar messages of sympathy and grief.
Márquez had built a strong online following, with more than two million followers across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. She was known for her lifestyle content, travel posts, and personal updates that resonated widely with her audience.
Authorities say the investigation into her death is ongoing.
