Pink may have enjoyed the privilege of serving as the master of ceremonies at the 2026 Tony Awards, but she ensured credit went where it was earned throughout her introductory speech — acknowledging her fifteen-year-old daughter, Willow Sage Hart, as “Broadway’s biggest fan.”
The forty-six-year-old vocalist, who fronted the Sunday event held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, remarked, “Tonight, I am here as Broadway’s biggest fan.” Then she added, “Well, second biggest next to my daughter, Willow.”
The appreciative mother was accompanied by her theatre-loving teenager; along with her nine-year-old son, Jameson Moon Hart; her fifty-year-old spouse, Carey Hart; and her own mother, Judith Moore, for a delightful family snapshot on the red carpet ahead of the show's commencement.
Recent Broadway Appearances
Pink and Willow recently made a rare joint appearance on a New York red carpet for the debut performance of “The Lost Boys” on Broadway this past April. In a video clip uploaded to Instagram during that period, the “Get the Party Started” vocalist called out to the press, “Look how gorgeous my daughter is!”
The forty-six-year-old pop star can subsequently be heard questioning fifteen-year-old Willow, “How are you feeling?” The young vocalist, who remained holding her mother's hand, verified that she was “OK.”
The two performers have also shared a stage on multiple occasions. During August 2024, the mother and daughter duo appeared on stage at the Democratic National Convention held in Chicago.
They delivered a unique rendition of the track “What About Us” by Pink. At one specific point in the live set, Willow sang a handful of musical lines completely solo whilst her mother observed in absolute astonishment.
Theatre Career Aspirations
Before this, in June 2023, the teenager stood alongside her mother on stage for the opening date of the pop icon's Summer Carnival Tour to sing their 2021 collaborative track “Cover Me In Sunshine.” Pink originally debuted the melody with Willow in 2021.
A year afterwards, in June 2024, news emerged that Willow was departing the family nest to concentrate entirely on her theatrical aspirations. The “Just Give Me a Reason” singer uploaded a moving Instagram video featuring Willow validating her desire to make “theatre professionally” her main focus. The young actress noted that her ultimate ambition was to be a “kid on Broadway” before transforming into “an adult on Broadway after that.”
“This weekend’s shows were Willow’s last few on tour before she takes time away to follow her dreams. I promised I wouldn’t cry,” Pink teased in the caption. “I DID NOT however, promise I wouldn’t hyperventilate through our hug. It’s wild to watch your children grow up and out of you, but I’m beyond proud. We all are. I’m gonna miss you so much.”
Milestone Birthday Celebrations
Willow marked her fifteenth birthday on June 2, prompting Pink to comment to E! News the following afternoon that she “was terrified to be a mother” prior to the arrival of her firstborn child.
“I told Willow in her birthday card that she taught me what love is. And I’ve loved every phase of being her mom,” she gushed.
Meanwhile, Carey utilised social media platforms to compose an emotional birthday dedication addressed to his firstborn child.
“My beautiful daughter Willow. Thank you so much for choosing me to be your father,” the racer wrote. “Each year that goes by, is one year closer to you being on your own. And thought it gets harder for me each year, I couldn’t be more proud of the woman you are becoming.”
