Daniel Radcliffe brought a touch of romance to Broadway’s biggest night, stepping out with longtime partner Erin Darke at the 2026 Tony Awards as he celebrated a major nomination for his latest stage role.
The 36-year-old actor arrived on the red carpet at Radio City Music Hall in New York City alongside his partner, marking a rare public date night for the couple.
Radcliffe is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play for his performance in Every Brilliant Thing.
For the occasion, Radcliffe wore a blue-gray Todd Snyder tuxedo featuring silver lapels and a matching bow tie, while Erin Darke complemented the look in a flowing navy gown paired with a silver clutch.
Radcliffe’s nomination places him in a competitive category alongside Will Harrison (Punch), Nathan Lane (Death of a Salesman), John Lithgow (Giant), and Mark Strong (Oedipus).
Every Brilliant Thing, currently staged at the Hudson Theatre, is a deeply emotional play that follows a man reflecting on his life and the small joys that helped him endure difficult moments.
The production is known for its unique audience participation, with theatergoers often brought into the performance as part of the storytelling experience.
Radcliffe previously won a Tony Award in 2024 for Merrily We Roll Along, and has spoken enthusiastically about the interactive nature of his current role.
In a recent interview, he described the freedom he feels engaging directly with audiences before the show begins.
“There’s something really liberating about just running around and being like, ‘Hey, I’m Dan. Nice to meet you,’” he said.
“Most of the time, if I’m in a room full of 1,000 people, I am hat on, mask on, trying to lay low. There’s something really freeing and fun about just being able to run around and recruit people for the show.”
Beyond the stage, Radcliffe and Darke’s relationship has been a long-running Hollywood love story.
The pair met in 2012 while filming Kill Your Darlings, where they played love interests. Radcliffe later revealed that their on-screen chemistry reflected real-life feelings developing off-camera.
The couple welcomed a baby boy in 2023 and have largely kept their family life private while occasionally appearing together at major industry events.
