Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann celebrate love in Venice ahead of lavish wedding
The reality TV couple shares a romantic glimpse into their Venice welcome party ahead of their wedding
Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann are officially in wedding mode as the reality TV couple shared a glimpse of their romantic pre-wedding festivities in Venice, Italy.
The pair offered fans a first look at their welcome party on June 17, posting a carousel of photos on Instagram that captured intimate moments ahead of their highly anticipated wedding.
The images showcased the couple enjoying Venice’s iconic scenery, from boat rides along the city’s canals to hand-in-hand strolls through picturesque streets.
Their 2-year-old son, Heath, also appeared in several snapshots, adding a heartwarming family touch to the celebrations.
Gibelli stunned in a fitted lace dress paired with a delicate lace veil and statement jewelry, while Horstmann complemented her look in an off-white sport coat layered over a white T-shirt, styled with brown trousers and matching accessories.
The festivities also attracted several familiar faces from the Love Is Blind universe. Fellow franchise stars Taylor Krause, Alexa Lemieux, Colleen Reed and Raven Ross were among those who traveled to Venice to celebrate the couple’s big week.
The celebration comes just weeks after Gibelli and Horstmann revealed they had obtained their marriage license in Colorado.
Although the paperwork is complete, the couple previously explained that they intentionally left the license unsigned so they could still enjoy a traditional signing ceremony during their wedding festivities in Italy.
The pair have been open about planning and financing their European wedding themselves, with Gibelli previously revealing that hosting the event overseas allowed them to create their dream wedding for significantly less than a comparable celebration in the United States.
Their journey to the altar has been years in the making. After getting engaged in Madrid in October 2024, the couple welcomed son Heath Orion Horstmann in March 2024 and have since shared much of their wedding planning process with fans.
Speaking recently about their long engagement, Gibelli admitted she intentionally wanted a different experience after her highly publicized Love Is Blind journey, where former fiancé Damian Powers famously said “no” at the altar.
Now, with wedding celebrations underway in Venice, Gibelli says she is more than ready for the next chapter.
“I am ready to call him my husband,” she previously shared.
