Mariska Hargitay and her son August Hermann celebrated the New York Knicks’ historic championship victory with a special family fashion moment.

On Thursday, June 18, the Law & Order: SVU star, 62, and her 18-year-old son attended the Knicks’ ticker-tape parade through Manhattan after the team secured its first NBA championship in 53 years.

Hargitay continued her playful custom T-shirt tradition by wearing a Knicks-inspired shirt featuring the words, “Brilliant Thing #11 The Knicks,” a clever nod to her Broadway show Every Brilliant Thing and her favorite player Jalen Brunson’s jersey number.

She completed the look with matching orange pants as she celebrated the team’s major milestone.

Meanwhile, August, whom Hargitay shares with husband Peter Hermann, paid tribute to his mom with his own Knicks-themed shirt that read, “Mariknickska Hargitay.”

The actress later shared a sweet photo from the day, showing her and August walking together through a subway station with their arms linked.

“What a day.,” she captioned the Instagram post.

Hargitay has long been a devoted Knicks fan and has attended several games throughout the NBA Finals.

After the team’s dramatic 29-point comeback victory in Game 4, she joked that the unforgettable moment may have even topped her wedding night.

“I love my husband, and our wedding night was great and all, but I think it might have been the greatest night of my life,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.

The actress has also formed a friendship with Knicks star Jalen Brunson, who jokingly expressed interest in joining her show after the team’s championship win.

“Try to get on SVU,” Brunson said when asked about his next goal after securing the title.

The Knicks’ championship parade traveled through New York City’s Canyon of Heroes, featuring appearances from celebrities including Hargitay and Timothée Chalamet, before ending at City Hall where the team received a key to the city.
