Kathy Griffin sparks buzz after introducing 22-year-old partner on Instagram

Kathy Griffin appears to have debuted a new romance on social media, introducing followers to a man she says is 22 years old.

The 65-year-old comedian shared what appeared to be a paparazzi-style photo on Instagram showing herself walking hand-in-hand with the mystery man as he opened a car door for her.

Keeping the caption short and playful, Griffin wrote, "He's 22. Have at it, internet."

The post quickly sparked reactions from fans and fellow celebrities, including Courtney Stodden, who commented, "You'll always be hot."

One fan also joked about the couple's age difference, writing, "Enjoy. Just don't talk about TV shows or music."

The post comes nearly two months after Griffin shared another Instagram photo featuring a different unidentified man, whom she introduced by writing, "We're insta official. Deal with it." That post has since been deleted, suggesting the relationship may have ended.

Griffin has previously been candid about dating younger men.

Writing for The Cut last year, she revealed she had unexpectedly fallen for a 23-year-old following her split from ex-husband Randy Bick.

"I accidentally fell in love with a 23-year-old," she wrote, explaining that she appreciated his openness and lack of the biases she had encountered with some men closer to her own age.

However, Griffin ultimately decided the relationship wasn't sustainable because they were at very different stages in life.

"I knew he was too young when he told me he never wanted to have kids and that he could be with me forever," she recalled. 

"I was like, 'You don't know that. You're 23. You have no idea.' So I had to set that dove free."
