The 40-year-old television personality shared the health update in a video posted to his personal Instagram account. He explained that medical professionals located a blueberry-sized lesion in his brain that appears to be a glioma.
Page Six reported that Amabile will undergo a craniotomy in two weeks to remove the lesion and run diagnostic tests. The reality star described the last two weeks as wild and admitted he never expected to face a cancer scare. He expressed hope that surgeons can remove the entire growth, noting that doctors caught the issue in its early stages. Amabile added that he is attempting to stay positive with the support of his family and close friends.
