Pat McAfee says Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding 'showcased' their love

Sports analyst Pat McAfee has shared new details about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's star-studded wedding, describing the celebration as "the greatest night of all time" and saying the couple's love for each other was evident throughout the event.
Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, the former NFL player reflected on attending the couple's July 3 wedding at New York City's Madison Square Garden, where approximately 1,000 guests gathered to celebrate the newlyweds.
"That was the most spectacular evening I have ever been a part of," McAfee said, noting that guests were not allowed to use phones or take notes during the ceremony.
"I'm sure there was something that I agreed to not talk about, but from the things that I've been reading about other people talking about it... there were no phones in there. There is no notes section, no writing or anything, so it's literally all just memory," he explained.
McAfee also praised Swift for bringing her creativity to the event, saying the global superstar's vision made the wedding unforgettable.
"She's one of the greatest creators that the world has ever seen," he said. "She has to entertain people that are 90 and also 15. Think about her brain going to her dream wedding and then Travis Kelce's energy in the middle of it."
While avoiding specific details about the private celebration, McAfee described it as "the greatest night of all time" and said he and his wife had an incredible experience.
"They absolutely showcased that they are in love. It was very obvious," he added.
The sports commentator also defended the couple against criticism surrounding the scale of the lavish celebration.
"The event itself was like the most spectacular grand thing I've ever seen in my entire life," McAfee said, adding that he and his wife were grateful to have been invited.
"We had a blast. It was incredible. Everything was just obviously top of the line. And Travis Kelce is very much in love, seems very happy."
