Kelsey Anderson opened up about one of the sweetest gestures fiancé Joey Graziadei has made as the couple continues planning their wedding.

The pair, who got engaged during the season 28 finale of The Bachelor, are now less than a year away from saying "I do" and recently reflected on their wedding preparations in an interview with People.

While discussing the planning process, Anderson revealed that Graziadei surprised her with a series of thoughtful celebrations following a second proposal.

"Joey actually organized it all after surprising me with a second proposal," she said.

According to Anderson, Graziadei secretly planned an engagement party for two weeks later, bringing together their friends to celebrate the milestone.

"As if that wasn't thoughtful enough, he also coordinated with one of my friends to set up a dress appointment at LOHO Bride so my sister and closest friends could be there for the experience," she added.

"Being able to share that moment with some of my favorite people meant so much to me, and I'd say it's up there on the list for one of the most thoughtful things Joey has done for me. It made an already unforgettable time in our lives even more special."

The couple also shared details about designing their wedding save-the-date cards through Minted, saying they wanted the announcement to reflect their personalities.

"We definitely had a vision from the start," they said. "We knew we wanted our Save the Date to feature one of our engagement photos, so finding a design that complemented it was really important."

They customized the design using one of their favourite photos together and incorporated their favourite colour, green.

Anderson and Graziadei said working with a wedding planner has helped make the planning process less stressful, especially when it came to deciding on a venue.

"The biggest challenge so far has been deciding on a location since we have moved, and our family and friends are spread out all over the country," they explained.

Choosing a colour palette, however, came much more naturally.

"We're both pretty easygoing, and most decisions have come together naturally," they said. "Overall, we've been lucky to have a planning process that's been much less stressful than we expected."

The couple also revealed that touring wedding venues has been one of their favourite experiences so far.

"Walking through each space and picturing ourselves surrounded by our family and friends on such an important day was very special," they shared.

"It was one of those moments where the excitement of getting married really started to sink in, and it's some memories we'll both cherish."
