Shakira turned heads at the first-ever FIFA World Cup final halftime show, delivering a standout performance in a custom Roberto Cavalli outfit adorned with more than 200,000 Swarovski crystals.

The global superstar took the stage at New York New Jersey Stadium during Sunday's World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, wearing a one-of-a-kind ensemble created by Roberto Cavalli creative director Fausto Puglisi.

Designed to sparkle under the stadium lights, the performance look featured a crystal-covered bodysuit paired with a flowing fringed skirt in sunset-inspired shades of orange, yellow and pink.

The outfit showcased Cavalli's exclusive "Ray of Sunset" print, created specifically for Shakira and inspired by the fashion house's signature Ray of Gold motif.

According to the designer, the bodysuit alone required more than 120 hours of hand embroidery, with every Swarovski crystal individually applied to enhance the singer's signature choreography.

Shakira's 34 dancers also coordinated with the theme, wearing custom Roberto Cavalli costumes featuring the same vibrant print in two different styles, helping create a unified visual spectacle on the field.

The Colombian star performed the official 2026 FIFA World Cup anthem, Dai Dai, alongside Burna Boy during the landmark 11-minute halftime show.

Madonna, Justin Bieber and BTS also appeared as part of the historic performance, which was curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

The event concluded with a performance by New York's PS22 Chorus before Spain secured a 1-0 victory over Argentina to lift its second FIFA World Cup title since 2010.
