Former NFL player Jason Kelce reflected on how his public life shifted dramatically after his brother Travis Kelce began dating pop star Taylor Swift.

The Ross Tucker Football Podcast featured the former Philadelphia Eagles player, who explained that his personal rise to fame occurred gradually before taking a massive jump once the high-profile relationship became public. The former athlete noted that the romance introduced his family to an entirely new fanbase outside of sports. He explained that recognition shifted from male football fans approaching him to thank him for playing for the Eagles to young girls recognising him in public.

The couple first linked in September 2023 after the singer attended one of the tight end's Kansas City Chiefs games. The pair subsequently got married earlier this month, hosting a star-studded wedding reception that featured musical performances from iconic artists including Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks.

During the podcast episode, Jason Kelce also spoke about his brother's musical performance at the wedding reception. He shared that the groom can sing and has always been able to carry a tune. However, the former athlete joked that his brother paled in comparison to some of the legendary musicians who performed during the evening, though he noted that the groom still performed well.
