Injured Bebe Rexha updates fans after being hit by phone during NYC concert

Bebe Rexha shared health update with fans after surviving multiple face injuries during her concert in New York City on Sunday night, where a concertgoer hurled a mobile phone in her face.

The chart-topping American singer, 33, turned to her Instagram on Monday and shared graphic pictures of her facial injuries with the caption, “I’m good,” referencing her hit song I’m Good (Blue).

In the shared pictures, fans can see that Rexha sustained a black eye injury, with stitches over her eyebrow.

The In The Name of Love singer was seen giving a thumbs up as she showed bandages covering up several stitches along her brow in the picture.

Bebe Rexha fans flooded the comments section of her post, wishing her a speedy recovery. Many of them also slammed the attacker, Nicolas Malvagna, 27, from New Jersey, who was arrested and charged with assault in connection with the incident, the New York Police Department confirmed.

“I’m so sorry that happened to you. I hope the person that assaulted you was arrested and banned from your future shows ,” one fan wrote.

“Hate hate hate seeing this sending u big love today especially,” added another fan. “You deserve so, so, so much better. get well soon ,” shared a third fan wrote.

Bebe Rexha was performing on her concert from Best F’n Night Of My Life tour when the shocking incident occurred.

A concertgoer captured the chaotic incident on video, in which Rexha was falling to her knees in pain after being hit in the face. The singer’s team and crewmembers immediately rushed her off stage.

Bebe Rexha is scheduled to perform her next concert at The Fillmore in Philadelphia on Tuesday.
