More than a year after the sudden passing of One Direction alum Liam Payne, court documents have revealed that his 9-year-old son, Bear, has been named the sole beneficiary of his estate. Bear, whom Payne shared with ex Cheryl Cole, inherited over $29 million. While a portion of the funds is available for use now, the majority of the inheritance will be held in a secure trust until Bear turns 18.
Because the singer passed away at age 31 without a legal will in October 2024, his ex Cheryl Cole and attorney Richard Mark Bray have been named as administrators of the estate.
