‘The White Lotus’ enters ‘exclusive conversations’ with surprise A-lister for season 4

A Hollywood A-lister has emerged as the first contender in reported negotiations to lead Season Four of The White Lotus.

According to Deadline, Helena Bonham Carter “is in early talks for a starring role”, while the development in the conversation is not yet known.

“It is unknown where things stand in the dealmaking process, but sources say exclusive conversations are under way between both parties,” added the outlet.

The latest announcement comes after the only detail revealed about the HBO production’s next season was that its casting process had begun in November, confirmed by the company’s CEO Casey Bloys.

Furthermore, any information about where the show’s fourth season will be set is not available at the moment. Though with its previous seasons featuring globe-spanning locales like Hawaii, Italy, and Thailand, the new destination is expected to be equally exotic.

Helena Bonham Carter’s potential appearance in The White Lotus Season Four will mark her first high profile TV appearance since Netflix’s The Crown, which saw her playing Princess Margaret during its third and fourth seasons, while earning two Emmy nominations along the way.
