Dakota Johnson crashes Lily Allen’s performance on ‘SNL’ for subtle shade at David Harbour

Lily Allen took the stage during Saturday Night Live’s latest episode to perform hits from her latest album, West End Girl, which includes endless shade at her ex-husband David Harbour.

While surprising the audience during the performance of Allen’s scene-stealing track Madeline was Dakota Johnson, who joined her onstage in a cheeky manner.

Since Madeline hints at Harbour’s alleged infidelity during his marriage to the English singer-songwriter, Johnson performed the perspective of the mistress whose name’s pseudonym became the title of the song.

“I hate that you’re in so much pain right now. I really don’t wanna be the cause of any upset. He told me that you were aware this was going on and that he had your full consent,” she first said while concealed behind a curtain. “If he’s lying about that, then please let me know. Because I have my own feelings about dishonesty. Lies are not something that I wanna get caught up in.”

After encouraging Allen to “reach out” to her for anything, the actress playing Madeline stepped out from the curtains and planted a kiss on the singer’s cheek.

“Love and light, Madeline,” responded Allen, before embracing Dakota Johnson and concluding her performance.

Lily Allen’s marriage to David Harbour broke down amid allegations of extra-marital affairs on the latter’s part, with the couple separating in February 2025 and susbequently filing for divorce.

She appeared in SNL’s episode aired on December 13 as the musical guest alongside debut host, Josh O’Connor.
