Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth split after years of 'complicated' romance

The turbulent decade-long romance between Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth has come to an end. Sources have confirmed that the pair, who share a daughter born in 2022, separated last year following a period of persistent instability.
LaBeouf has since moved from their Los Angeles family home to New Orleans. “Their relationship has always been complicated. They weren't getting along and had a lot of drama last year," an insider revealed.
The Frankenstein actress reportedly "encouraged" the move, with sources suggesting she is ready to stand on her own.
“She loves him, but she also doesn't need him. She's very independent. She has her own life, her own career and her priority is their daughter," the source added. Despite the physical distance, LaBeouf reportedly remains in close contact with their child.
The confirmation of their split arrives during a chaotic week for LaBeouf, who was recently arrested in New Orleans for battery following a Mardi Gras brawl.
This follows a long history of highs and lows for the couple, who met on a film set in 2012 and held a non-legal Las Vegas wedding in 2016.
Though they have previously reunited after a 2018 divorce filing, friends suggest Goth’s newfound focus is purely parental.
Both actors have previously spoken of the joy their daughter brings, with LaBeouf citing the "discovery of real love" and Goth describing motherhood as a "psychedelic experience." For now, it seems that shared love for their child is all that remains of their partnership.
