Lisa Rinna opens up about marriage challenges and online speculation
The actress dismisses online rumors about infidelity in her marriage to Harry Hamlin
Reality star Lisa Rinna has addressed swirling online speculation about her 29-year marriage to actor Harry Hamlin, laughing off rumors of infidelity and claims that the couple no longer lives together.
In her new memoir, You Better Believe I'm Gonna Talk About It, the 62-year-old explained, “There are some cave-dwelling internet trolls who live to tear us down and start rumors. I get that. It’s way more fun to see fights than cuddles.”
Rinna, who shares daughters Delilah Belle, 27, and Amelia, 24, with Hamlin, said she finds the online chatter more amusing than upsetting. “So I just laugh when I read that we don’t live together anymore, he’s having multiple affairs in Canada, and he’s gay. Go Harry F****** Hamlin!” she wrote.
She also emphasized the strong foundation of their marriage, highlighting trust and intimacy. “I don’t ever worry about Harry. I am not jealous. He’s not jealous. I always thought the affair rumors were so strange because that was certainly not something I ever even contemplated. I would be shocked if I found out he was having an affair,” Rinna added.
Earlier this year, Rinna spoke on the Dinner's on Me with Jesse Tyler Ferguson about the challenges of long-term marriage.
“We’re human, and I think it’s super important to show your humanity. Where I am in my life right now, I think it’s really important for people to hear that it’s not easy to be married for all these years. It’s not easy to raise a family anywhere, let alone Hollywood, California,” she said.
Rinna also revealed that there is far more to married life than the public often sees.
“There’s so many things that you don’t know what’s behind the curtain. When you see people, you don’t know what they’re dealing with in their lives. And I think it’s important to share that. I thought it was important to share all of that,” she said.
Despite the rumors, Rinna’s comments reflect a marriage built on humor, trust, and openness, a partnership that has endured nearly three decades in the spotlight.
