Jon Hamm reveals fun perks of working with wife Anna Osceola on Apple TV series

Jon Hamm has opened up about the perks of working alongside his wife Anna Osceola in season 2 of Apple TV’s Your Friends & Neighbors.

Hamm, 58, reprises his role as Andrew “Coop” Cooper, while Osceola, 37, joins the cast as Maggie Haber, a member of his neighborhood friend group.

Speaking with People, Hamm shared the unexpected benefits of sharing the set with his spouse.

“It’s fun to go to work together. We get to bring the dog in as well sometimes, so that’s nice. We save money on dog sitting,” he said. Hamm added that working together eliminates the need for “an hour-long conversation on what I did at work,” saving them both time.

Season 2 sees Coop doubling down on his life as a suburban thief, until new neighbor James Marsden, playing Owen Ashe, threatens to expose his secrets.

“His whole season is kind of him really looking at his situation… it’s not sustainable, and he better figure out a way to get out of this,” Hamm explained.

He praised Marsden’s performance, noting the actor’s packed schedule, including his Marvel return as Cyclops.

Hamm reflected on Coop’s core motivation: providing for his family. “He deeply cares about his ex-wife and his parents and his sister.

I think all of those things are what redeems Coop when we see him doing the bad things that he does,” he said.

The Apple TV series has already been renewed for a third season.

Hamm expressed excitement about continuing to explore Coop’s journey, calling the character “great” and saying he’s pleased to return for another season. New episodes of Your Friends & Neighbors drop Fridays on Apple TV.
