Harry Styles choked up during his One Night Only event in Manchester, stopping to deliver an emotional message about the world's current situation.
He expressed his thoughts to the crowd while playing songs from his latest album — Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.
Amid growing global tensions, especially the ongoing unrest in Iran, Harry said: “During these chaotic moments, it’s normal to feel engulfed by hopelessness.
“But seeing this place filled with hope, I want you to continue embodying the change you wish to see in the universe.
“Despite the heavy struggles, love and kindness are immensely powerful — go forth and spread it.”
I was fortunate to be among the 20,000 who obtained £20 ballot tickets for Harry’s first performance in three years at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena.
The ex-One Direction star remarked: “Sharing and experiencing music is an incredible honor.
“The chance to release an album is only possible thanks to you all. I hope someday my songs will reach you and provide comfort during difficult times, just as they have helped others.”
Harry's gig offered an intimate setting with a circular stage amid a sea of fans, giving off a nightclub-like vibe.
Harry's relaxed outfit complemented the night’s atmosphere, contrasting with the flashy pinstripe suit he wore at the Brits last weekend.
The event's requests were simple as fitness enthusiast and marathoner Harry requested just yoghurt, nuts, coffee, and water.
The night began with Harry on the keyboard, joined later by his live band and eventually the House Gospel Choir — present with him at the Brits.
The performance featured musical references to LCD Soundsystem, Genesis, and 70s disco, with notable tracks like American Girls and Ready, Steady, Go!
In the crowd were not only Harry's family but also industry pals like James Coden and Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.
