Dylan Dreyer officially files for divorce from Brian Fichera
Dylan Dreyer and Brian Fichera commit to co-parenting their three sons
Dylan Dreyer, the prominent Today show meteorologist, has officially filed for divorce from her husband of twelve years, Brian Fichera.
The legal filing in March 2026 follows a period of private transition for the couple, who originally wed in 2012.
Although the pair announced their intent to separate in July, they recently disclosed that the actual split occurred several months earlier.
The couple share three sons—Calvin, nine, Oliver, six, and Russell, four—and are currently in the process of confirming a formal custody arrangement.
In a poignant Instagram post, Dreyer reflected on the transparency she has maintained with her audience over the years.
"For many years, I have shared my family with you all – the highs and lows. The ups and downs. And all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between," she wrote.
She expressed gratitude for the public's support, adding: "We began as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends."
Addressing the separation on air in November, Dreyer described the decision as a necessary move toward personal growth.
"There's something freeing, I think, for Brian and I, where – whatever reasons, whatever broke in a marriage – you could either fix it if you can, and ideally you would, and you try, and you try to fix things.
Or you accept that it's broken and you take this new step forward,” she explained. Both parties have committed to a co-parenting dynamic built on mutual respect, ensuring their children remain the central priority throughout this legal conclusion.
