Influencer MiddleNameMason mourns three friends lost in devastating car crash

Influencer MiddleNameMason, whose real name is Eli, has revealed that three of his friends died in a tragic car accident, while a fourth remains hospitalized in critical condition.

The 20-year-old content creator shared the devastating news on Instagram on March 21, recounting the March 18 crash that involved four young people.

“I just wanted to make this video to make people realise that your life can just f---ing change like that,” Eli said. “I never thought I'd be sat here making a video about how some of my friends have died.”

According to the BBC, the crash involved three vehicles and claimed the lives of three men aged 21 and 22.

A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in custody, while a 37-year-old previously arrested has been released on bail.

Eli also shared links to two online fundraisers: one for the families of the deceased friends, and another to support his hospitalized friend, Spencer, 21, who suffered life-threatening injuries. The campaigns have already raised over £75,000.

“We are just trying to help and support these families in any way possible, no matter how big or small,” the fundraiser description read. “Please if you could donate and help take this financial pressure away, please share far and wide. Let’s give these boys the best send off!”

About Spencer’s condition, the post said: “Spencer has suffered catastrophic injuries and continues to undergo life-saving treatment and surgery.

Only days ago he was a fit, healthy young man with his whole life ahead of him. Now he faces a long, uncertain and incredibly difficult journey.”

Eli urged his followers to contribute, adding, “If anyone can donate, even like a pound, it would mean the f---ing world to the lot of us. Genuinely, man.” Any additional funds raised for Spencer will support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
