Jennifer Aniston teases exciting details for 'The Morning Show' Season 5
'The Morning Show's' fifth season is yet to announce its premiere date
Jennifer Aniston is focused on her role as Alex Levy.
According to PEOPLE, the 57-year-old actress shares that production is underway for the eagerly awaited fifth season of The Morning Show.
"Right now, it’s all about The Morning Show season 5," Aniston says when asked what keeps her busy professionally at the moment.
"I have been prepping for the past few months, and particularly in recent weeks, we've been heavily focused on the scripts," she adds.
"This work will likely carry me through until the end of the summer," says the Emmy, Golden Globe, and Actors Award-winner, who is also engaged in a collaboration with Pvolve for its recent "Express Series,".
The Morning Show, which made its debut in 2019, features news anchors at the fictional UBA network.
News of the series' renewal for another season came in September 2025, ahead of the season 4 launch.
Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV, mentioned in a statement that The Morning Show "has been a notable feature from the onset" for the streaming service and expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming episodes of this Emmy Award-winning show.
Aniston appears alongside Reese Witherspoon in the series, with both serving as executive producers.
Witherspoon, who is 50, shared a playful moment from the cast's initial day on set for The Morning Show's fifth season in a recent Instagram post.
The clip captured a fun moment where Aniston playfully slapped the Legally Blonde star's behind.
Complementing Aniston and Witherspoon, The Morning Show also includes Jon Hamm, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Karen Pittman, and Nestor Carbonell, to name a few.
The fourth season saw new faces join the cast, like Marion Cotillard, Aaron Pierre, Boyd Holbrook, William Jackson Harper, and Jeremy Irons.
Greta Lee, who became part of the series in its second season, confirmed her departure after season four.
Jeff Daniels, Jesse Williams, and Reneé Rapp are among the new additions for the next chapter of this acclaimed show.
