Jack Whitehall to host 'Saturday Night Live UK' fourth episode before brief break

Saturday Night Live UK has selected ‘The Burbs performer Jack Whitehall to host the fourth episode of the British sketch comedy series.

He will guide the performers at 10pm local time on April 11, right before the show takes a brief break the following week. The performance will feature soul singer Jorja Smith.

The upcoming episode will see Bait actor Riz Ahmed as host, alongside the rock band Kasabian.

The series kicked off with Tina Fey, and just this past weekend, The Tourist actor Jamie Dornan took the stage.

Whitehall is presently starring in the Peacock comedy ‘The Burbs and has recent appearances in Prime Video’s Malice.

Interestingly, he also hosted the 2026 Brit Awards and has numerous upcoming acting roles.

Broadcast live from London on Sky, Saturday Night Live UK has unexpectedly won over critics, garnering mostly positive reviews.

The cast features Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi, and Paddy Young.

SNL UK is produced by the UK branch of Universal Television Alternative Studio and Broadway Video for Sky and the streaming service Now. SNL creator Lorne Michaels serves as executive producer, with James Longman taking the lead as producer.

Liz Clare is directing, and Daran Jonno Johnson holds the position of head writer.

UTAS UK Productions is managed by Helen Kruger Bratt. Shanna Baynard will act as the Executive in Charge of Production; Andy Charles Smith leads production for UTAS UK Productions with Sam Salter, who serves as production executive.
