Cardi B wins copyright case days after splitting from Stefon Diggs

Cardi B has scored a major legal win just weeks after announcing her split from ex-Stefon Diggs.

On Tuesday, March 31, multiple outlets reported that the I Like It singer and her record labels successfully defended themselves in a copyright infringement lawsuit.

The case was originally filed in July 2024 by Joshua Fraustro and Miguel Aguilar, also known as Kemika 1956, who claimed that Cardi B and her producers used portions of their 2021 song Greasy Frybread without permission on her March 2024 single Enough (Miami).

The lawsuit was dismissed due to a lack of personal jurisdiction, according to documents obtained by TMZ, marking a legal relief for the rapper after months of scrutiny.

This victory comes shortly after Cardi B’s personal life made headlines. She and Diggs, the American football wide receiver, welcomed their first child together in November 2025 but announced their split in early February 2026, just before Super Bowl LX.

Reports suggest the breakup was influenced by trust issues following alleged betrayals.

The couple had begun dating in May 2025, making their relationship brief but highly publicized.

Despite the personal and legal challenges, Cardi B now appears to be moving forward both professionally and personally.
