JoJo Siwa admits to wedding fever after attending brother's nuptials

The American entertainer JoJo Siwa has opened up about her evolving relationship with the British television personality Chris Hughes, admitting that she is currently experiencing a touch of "wedding fever."

Speaking with People Magazine following her brother Jayden Siwa’s recent nuptials, the 22-year-old "Karma" singer confessed that the celebration significantly influenced her outlook.

"Of course, it gave me the wedding vibes," she remarked, acknowledging that witnessing her sibling's ceremony prompted reflections on her own romantic future.

Siwa and Hughes, 33, originally formed a close bond as contestants on "Celebrity Big Brother UK" in early 2025 before publicly confirming their romance that June.

As they approach their first anniversary, Siwa described the past twelve months as "the best year ever," noting that her connection with the "Love Island" alumnus has only strengthened over time.

While the pair do not have concrete wedding plans just yet, Siwa noted with a supportive "human touch" that she is prepared for the next step.

"I think that marriage is, of course, in Chris' hands, and so when he feels the time is right, I'll be ready," she added playfully.

The couple has managed to maintain their trans-Atlantic spark through various romantic gestures, including a surprise visit from Hughes during Siwa’s Birmingham show in October 2025.

"He surprised me — I didn't know he was coming," she recalled, calling Hughes "my person." Although they are still "creeping up" on their major relationship milestone, the star remains optimistic about their trajectory.

Whether they are together or apart on the day, Siwa confirmed they intend to celebrate the anniversary of a relationship she believes was "meant to be."
