Lauren Conrad confirms she’s done with reality TV after 'Laguna Beach' reunion

Lauren Conrad has officially closed the chapter on her reality TV career after reuniting with the cast of Laguna Beach for a 20-year anniversary special.

The 40-year-old television star, who made her debut on Laguna Beach in 2004 before starring in The Hills from 2006, opened up about her decision during an exclusive conversation with former co-star Kristin Cavallari on Cavallari’s Let’s Be Honest podcast.

“I would love to put a pin in my career… it would be really cool to end my career with the same people I started it with,” Conrad said.

Conrad described the reunion as a clean, fitting way to say goodbye to the entertainment world.

When Cavallari suggested she could “hang up that entertainment hat” afterward, Conrad agreed. “God, I hope so,” she responded, confirming that this will mark her final reality TV appearance.

The reunion special, The Reunion: Laguna Beach, will stream on The Roku Channel on April 10.

In the trailer, Conrad and Cavallari sit by a fire, sharing a private conversation on camera for the first time in decades.

The special also features comedian Casey Wilson, as the cast reflects on high school feuds and the events that shaped their early careers.

Speaking about her reality TV past, Conrad admitted she doesn’t miss the spotlight. “I enjoyed it while I had it. We had fun and I’m really grateful for the opportunity… But I love just being with my fam and my friends and living a quieter life,” she said.

Conrad reunited with Cavallari and other cast members on the red carpet at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica, California, in March.

She called the experience meaningful, noting that everyone has grown and matured over the years. “A lot of us are parents, and as you get older, you’re not worried about the small stuff,” she said.
