Lauren Conrad details strict diet and simple beauty routine behind youthful look
The reality star says she keeps treatments minimal and avoids fillers entirely
Lauren Conrad has shared her surprising beauty and wellness routine at 40, revealing a balanced approach that prioritizes simplicity, discipline, and self-acceptance.
The former Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County star, who has largely stayed out of the spotlight since stepping away from The Hills in 2009, has recently returned to public attention ahead of The Reunion: Laguna Beach special, prompting renewed curiosity about her age-defying appearance.
Speaking on Kristin Cavallari’s podcast, Conrad shared that her beauty regimen remains minimal.
She revealed she opts for “light Botox” but avoids fillers altogether after trying them briefly and deciding they were not for her.
Instead, Conrad leans on consistent skincare habits and non-invasive treatments, including regular facial massages.
She emphasized that her routine is rooted more in maintenance than drastic enhancements, focusing on keeping things natural rather than “doing anything crazy.”
Beyond skincare, Conrad said her lifestyle plays a major role in how she feels and looks.
The mother of two follows a highly restricted diet due to food intolerances, avoiding dairy, grains, and legumes, while also limiting nightshade vegetables.
She acknowledged the challenges of maintaining such a diet, joking that she may not be the easiest person to dine out with. However, she added that understanding her body has been key, especially after testing confirmed her sensitivities.
Despite the strict approach, Conrad still allows herself small indulgences, admitting she enjoys foods like French fries when they don’t trigger issues.
