Alexia Jayy was officially crowned the winner of The Voice: Battle of Champions on Tuesday. Her victory marks a significant milestone for Team Adam, securing yet another win for coach Adam Levine.

The atmosphere was charged with emotion as the result was announced, leading to a poignant moment where Jayy burst into tears on stage.

Reflecting on her talent, Levine had earlier told her, "All that you need, you have. I think you already won." Following the announcement, he added, "Nobody is more deserving of this honor."

In the immediate aftermath of her success, the Mobile, Alabama, native shared the news via a FaceTime call with her mother, exclaiming, "I cannot believe that I just won the voice."

Jayy’s journey began with a powerful blind audition of Aretha Franklin’s "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman," which earned three chair turns.

During that initial appearance, she introduced her nine-year-old son, Matthew, to the panel. Coach Kelly Clarkson remarked to the youngster, "Your momma is a — don't say this word — but a badass," adding a humorous caution about the language.

Before selecting her coach, Levine praised her as "one of the best we've ever seen." On social media, Jayy told her followers on Instagram, alexiajayy, that the journey "hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it."

Having previously performed Whitney Houston's "You Give Good Love" and "Nightshift" during the competition, the singer now looks toward a promising future in the music industry.
