‘Good Omens’ Season 3: Prime Video releases epic finale trailer

The turbulent journey of Prime Video’s Good Omens is nearing its conclusion.

The preview for the final episode of Season 3, adapted from Terry Pratchett's work, has been released and will consist of one 90-minute installment.

The sneak peek, viewable above, continues the narrative of Good Omens Season 3 from the end of Season 2 as Aziraphale and the demon Crowley embark on their most personal quest yet.

Their friendship spanning thousands of years is strained since Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) chose to rejoin Heaven, leaving Crowley (David Tennant) on his own.

Now serving as the newly designated Supreme Archangel, Aziraphale is tasked with supervising the Second Coming, a duty that proves burdensome.

Good Omens Season 3 brings back Sheen and Tennant alongside returning cast members Doon Mackichan as Michael, Gloria Obianyo as Uriel, Liz Carr as Saraqael, Paul Chahidi as Sandalphon, Quelin Sepulveda as Muriel, and Derek Jacobi as The Metatron. Bilal Hasna joins the cast playing Jesus.

It took some time for Good Omens Season 3 to reach audiences. Delays resulted from several claims against the show’s creator, Neil Gaiman, which he disputes.

Gaiman contributed to the writing of the concluding episode but later withdrew and refrained from participating in the production process.

As a result, Season 3 evolved from multiple episodes to a single 90-minute special. Another of Gaiman's adaptations based on a Terry Pratchett work, Anansi Boys, is still awaiting its release.

Rob Wilkins, representing Pratchett’s literary estate through Narrativia, and BBC Studios Comedy’s Head Creative Officer, Josh Cole, contribute as executive producers for Good Omens together with Rachel Talalay, who directs the finale. Producers Sarah-Kate Fenelon and Chris Newman are involved as well.
