Lisa Hochstein has surrendered to the police due to a felony allegation.
The Real Housewives of Miami celebrity, aged 43, gave herself up to Miami's law enforcement, her lawyer Jayne Weintraub shared with PEOPLE on Wednesday (April 15).
By 11:47am local time, Lisa was documented at the Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation Department and received a $5,000 bond.
Lisa’s former companion, Jody Glidden, was detained on Sunday, April 12, with the identical charge.
He secured release on a $5,000 bond and subsequently declared himself not guilty. He also opted out of personally attending his forthcoming arraignment and sought a jury trial.
The duo were initially marked as co-defendants in a submission made by the Miami-Dade State Attorney on March 19 linked to a separate case, alleging that “between March 12, 2023, and March 31 2023,” Lisa and Gliddon “unlawfully and intentionally intercepted, attempted to intercept, or persuaded another to intercept … spoken words by Leonard Hochstein."
Weintraub addressed the accusations in a statement to PEOPLE then: “This case is part of an acrimonious divorce and should not be in criminal proceedings.”
Records show that charges against both Glidden and Lisa were moved to a new case identifier on March 20.
While Glidden’s present-case details are public, Lisa’s are not. Nevertheless, on Tuesday (April 14), updates to Lisa’s original case file showed a cybercrime team and a trial prosecutor were designated to the case.
Lisa and Lenny were wed for 13 years before he initiated divorce proceedings in May 2022. Amid the bitter legal battle, they both made numerous accusations against each other, including Lisa alleging she was financially constrained by Lenny.
His then-partner Katharina Mazepa also sought a restraining order against Lisa, though it was subsequently rejected.
