Nikki Glaser, Zoe Saldaña, Ethan Hawke featured on Time's 100 influential entertainers list

Time magazine has unveiled its latest compilation of the 100 most influential individuals around the globe.

This yearly selection includes a diverse range of political leaders, business magnates, scientists, activists, and entertainers.

This time, the entertainers' category features Ben Stiller, Benicio Del Toro, Zoe Saldaña, Ethan Hawke, Kate Hudson, Dakota Johnson, Ranbir Kapoor, Claire Danes, Keke Palmer, Sterling K. Brown, Alan Cumming, Noah Wyle, Anderson .Paak, Jonathan Groff, Wagner Moura, Rhea Seehorn, Jafar Panahi, and Nikki Glaser.

Appointed to grace one of the four global covers for this edition are actor Saldaña, comedian Glaser, actor Moura, and music artist Luke Combs.

In an introductory message to readers, Time Editor in Chief Sam Jacobs remarks, “There is no single metric that defines influence. Our selections are guided by the stories that are shaping our world each year and the individuals who make them happen. While some names are widely recognised, others are prominent solely within their specific domains… We anticipate that not many will be familiar with all 100 people.”

The roster also features names like Pope Leo XIV, President Donald Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu, Gavin Newsom, Marco Rubio, Mark Kelly, Zohran Mamdani, Jacob Frey, MrBeast, Josh D’Amaro, Dolores Huerta, Hilary Duff, Noah Kahan, Scottie Scheffler, Ralph Lauren, and Victoria Beckham.

As is tradition, guest writers are invited to share insights about those on the list. This year, Dakota Johnson is discussed by Taylor Swift, Ralph Lauren by Oprah Winfrey, Pope Leo XIV by Martin Scorsese, Victoria Beckham by Anna Wintour, Mashama Bailey by Kamala Harris, Luke Combs by Ed Sheeran, Jennie by Gracie Abrams, Kate Hudson by Mindy Kaling, Lando Norris by Paris Hilton, Dolores Huerta by Gloria Steinem, Lisa Kudrow on Alan Cumming, Sutton Foster on Jonathan Groff, Jesse Eisenberg on Claire Danes, and Laura Linney on Ethan Hawke.

The magazine’s 20th Annual TIME100 Gala, which honors the individuals on this list, is scheduled for April 23 in New York City. Glaser will serve as the host, with musical performances by Luke Combs and Coco Jones.
