Henry Winkler has proven that it is never too late for new experiences in Hollywood, revealing during a recent appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" that he filmed his first nude scene at the age of 79.

The 80-year-old actor joined the third season of the hit comedy "Loot" after being personally invited by series lead and executive producer Maya Rudolph.

Winkler explained to Kimmel that he accepted the role immediately, noting, "Maya Rudolph is one of my favourites. She is a brilliant person and a lovely person. So, when she asked me... I didn’t even ask to read the script."

The "Happy Days" icon was later surprised during costume fittings to find his wardrobe consisted only of a short silk robe and "a piece of jewellery."

Winkler portrayed Gerald Canning, an eccentric billionaire who owns a clothing-optional island. Recalling the production in January, he joked about the freezing conditions on the beach, stating, "I want to say the wind came from every direction. I was in shock. But then I was with Maya and her wonderful cast."

Rudolph later mentioned that while the production provided "nude-coloured sports shorts," some background actors fully embraced the nudist theme.

Winkler’s long-standing career began with his legendary portrayal of Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli, a role he played for a decade.

More recently, he introduced himself to a new generation as acting coach Gene Cousineau in the HBO series "Barry", which secured him his first Emmy Award in 2018. Following his latest comedic turn in "Loot", Winkler continues to remain a prolific figure in the industry.
