Nikki Glaser reveals Leonardo DiCaprio sent her pasta baskets after Golden Globes roast
Glaser shares the story while promoting her new stand-up special, Good Girl, out April 24
Nikki Glaser has revealed that Leonardo DiCaprio responded to her Golden Globes comedy roast most unexpectedly by sending her multiple baskets of pasta.
The comedian, 41, shared the story during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on April 21, while promoting her new stand-up special Good Girl.
Glaser hosted the 2026 Golden Globe Awards in January and delivered a monologue that included jokes about DiCaprio’s famously private lifestyle.
Speaking with Fallon, Glaser said she has a tradition of sending flowers to celebrities she roasts, calling it a gesture of appreciation for being “a good sport.”
“After I do it, I always send flowers to everyone that I made fun of… just to say thank you,” she said. “He was the only person who sent something back to me.”
Glaser said DiCaprio’s response referenced one of her jokes about a 1991 interview in which the actor reportedly named his favorite food as “pasta, pasta and more pasta.”
“And then I was like, ‘Well, that’s kind of funny,’ so I was like, ‘This guy doesn’t reveal anything about himself,’” she explained.
“So he sent me three baskets of pasta,” Glaser added. “So funny. So good.”
During her Golden Globes monologue, Glaser also referenced DiCaprio’s dating history, a topic she noted has long been part of public commentary about the actor.
“It was dry pasta,” she joked to Fallon, adding that she even questioned whether DiCaprio was signaling a deeper joke. “Part of me was like, ‘Does Leo want to smash?’”
DiCaprio, 51, reportedly reacted positively during the ceremony, laughing and giving Glaser a thumbs-up as she delivered the joke.
Glaser also said she tries to balance her roasts with respect for the stars she targets.
“As long as I really like these people and respect what they do, I can get away with saying something negative,” she previously told PEOPLE ahead of the awards show.
Her new stand-up special Good Girl premieres on Hulu on April 24.
