In a startling revelation that has quickly gone viral, singer and reality star Ray J claimed to have slept with approximately 12,500 women throughout his lifetime.

Appearing on the latest episode of the Funky Friday podcast, the 45-year-old crooner—born William Ray Norwood Jr.—detailed his prolific intimate history to host Cam Newton.

When the former NFL quarterback expressed scepticism regarding the sheer volume of the figure, Ray J insisted the number was accurate, noting that he reached the 10,000-mark several years ago.

To justify the logistics of such a claim, Ray J explained that his lifestyle during his musical prime and while on tour skewed the averages significantly.

"The math is different because when we're on tour, we're thinking five to 10 [women] a day," he told Newton.

Newton had calculated that to reach such a total, Ray J would have had to sleep with more than one and a half women every single day for the last 30 years.

Ray J doubled down on the narrative, even describing a massive celebratory party he hosted upon reaching five digits, which he claimed was attended by nearly 500 former partners.

The Wait a Minute hitmaker, who shares two children—Melody, 7, and Epik, 6—with his estranged wife Princess Love, has long been a fixture in tabloid headlines.

His past high-profile relationships include a famous partnership with Kim Kardashian, as well as ties to Olivia Alvarez and various reality television co-stars.

While the internet remains divided on whether the "One Wish" singer is exaggerating for comedic effect or stating a literal fact, the confession has undoubtedly cemented the podcast episode as one of the most discussed media moments of the week.
