Meghan Markle shares rare video of Prince Archie at 'Archie's Chick Inn'
Prince Archie assists his mother during a visit to the family's rescue chickens
The Duchess of Sussex has shared a rare and intimate glimpse into her family life in California through a new social media update.
In a video posted on Thursday, Meghan Markle is seen visiting the family’s famous chicken coop—affectionately known as "Archie's Chick Inn"—alongside her friend and business collaborator, Jonathan Grahm of Compartés.
The clip captures a light-hearted moment as Meghan feeds the rescue hens, jokingly remarking, “When the chocolate man comes to see the chickens.”
The highlights of the footage, however, are the audible contributions from her eldest son, Prince Archie.
Although not fully visible on screen, the seven-year-old is heard excitedly telling his mother, “Mom, I got another grey one,” presumably referring to an egg or a specific bird.
Meghan responds warmly to her son, saying, “Thanks sweetheart.” This personal update coincides with the launch of a special Mother's Day collection for her lifestyle brand, As Ever, which features candles inspired by the birthdays of both Archie and his younger sister, Princess Lilibet.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to their Montecito estate in 2020 after stepping back from their roles as senior working royals.
Since then, they have frequently highlighted their quieter lifestyle, which includes tending to hens rescued from factory farms.
While the couple has remained selective about sharing images of their children, these occasional "slice of life" posts continue to draw significant global attention, showcasing the family's transition to their life in the United States.
