'Euphoria' cast dismiss Zendaya–Sydney Sweeney feud rumours as false reports swirl

Zendaya is receiving strong praise from the cast and crew of Euphoria, as multiple co-stars have dismissed ongoing rumours of an alleged on-set feud during the show’s third season.

Speculation had recently circulated online suggesting tension between Zendaya and fellow cast member Sydney Sweeney, with some claims linking the rumours to alleged off-screen interactions involving Tom Holland.

However, those reports have now been strongly rejected by several members of the production.

Actor Hemky Madera, who appeared in the series as DEA agent Jimenez, spoke highly of Zendaya in an interview, describing her both as a professional and a positive presence on set.

“Zendaya, I cannot praise her more. She’s such a pro, obviously from her acting abilities, but just as a person,” Madera said, adding that she was “welcoming, funny, quiet, and very giving.”

He further emphasized that the entire cast and crew held her in high regard, stating, “And the crew loves her. Oh my God, she is top-notch.”

Another cast member, Jessica Blair Herman, who appeared in season 3, also dismissed the rumours, telling Good Day New York that the set environment was positive and harmonious.

“They really did,” she said when asked about cast relationships. “And I’m not just saying that.”

The comments add to a growing number of public defenses of Zendaya from those involved in the production, pushing back against ongoing social media speculation.

As the third season continues to stream, the show remains one of HBO’s most talked-about dramas, with new episodes releasing weekly on HBO Max.
