British pop star Charli XCX has opened up about the anxiety she felt stepping onto a film set for the first time, saying she initially questioned whether she belonged there at all.

"I went feeling so like, 'What the f*** am I doing here?'" she told Vogue.

But once filming began, those doubts quickly faded. "I was like, 'Okay, let me just see how this makes me feel. And it made me feel really amazing," she said.

The singer, best known for her music career, acknowledged the uncertainty that comes with trying something new.

"It can be scary to leave something behind that you're known for, then risk it all trying to do something else," she said.

Despite her nerves, Charli described her on-set experience as a privilege. "I feel so lucky to be on set with so many actors and directors I admire," she said, adding that she remains driven to improve. "I have a hunger to learn and understand how other people do it."

She also set a high bar for herself. "I don't think I've ever felt like, 'Wow, I killed that.' I feel ready to do it 1,000 times if necessary."

Charli XCX has several film projects scheduled for release, including I Want Your Sex and The Moment.
