Sienna Miller calls Emily Blunt 'the most talented human being'
The longtime friends share a close bond that extends into their professional and social circles
Sienna Miller is opening up about her close friendship with Emily Blunt, offering high praise for the Hollywood star’s talent, character, and lasting impact both on and off screen.
In a recent interview with Extra, Miller said she “couldn’t be more proud” of Blunt’s continued success, describing her career as “extraordinary” and highlighting the deep admiration she has for her longtime friend.
“I couldn’t be more proud,” Miller said. “I just think that her career is extraordinary.”
Beyond her professional achievements, Miller emphasized Blunt’s personal qualities, calling her “the most talented human being” and praising her warmth as a friend, wife, and mother.
“Her soul is even more extraordinary,” Miller added. “She just is the most talented human being, the greatest actress, but more than that, she’s the most extraordinary friend, wife, mother, and she just brightens up all of our lives.”
Miller, 44, also confirmed that Blunt, 43, remains one of her closest friends, underscoring the long-standing bond between the two actors.
Their connection extends into professional circles as well. Miller spoke about working with John Krasinski — Blunt’s husband — in the upcoming action-thriller Jack Ryan: Ghost War, directed by Andrew Bernstein.
“I was fortunate in that John and I had been friends for a long time before, and his wife is one of my best friends,” Miller said.
She also reflected on the demanding preparation required for her role in the project, revealing she underwent intense physical training ahead of filming.
“I think it was a baptism by fire,” she said, joking that her preparation included “12 hours of squats” as she worked to get into action-ready shape.
Blunt has similarly received glowing tributes from other Hollywood collaborators in recent years, including Dwayne Johnson, who has worked with her on Jungle Cruise and The Smashing Machine.
Speaking at the Toronto Film Festival in 2025, Johnson praised Blunt as “one of the greatest actors of our time — of all time,” adding that she is also “one of my best friends.”
He emphasized that their strong bond helped shape their creative partnership on screen, noting that trust and emotional openness were essential to their work together.
“In order to go to the place we were going to go, you have to have love, and then you have to have trust,” Johnson said. “The love and the trust then allow for vulnerability.”
